Hotels in Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls has more hotels in one area then most cities have in their entire city, and if you’ve never been there before then you’ll see quickly the vast amount of hotels. There are a few areas where you can stay and depending on who you come with to Niagara Falls may reflect where you stay. If you’re with a bunch of friends and want to party all week then you can find cheap hotels and motels right on the main strip which are perfect for young people. It’s also where all the action is at night and you’ll have a great time down on the strip and for very reasonable prices.
Down from the falls you can find some very nice hotels which are right on Clifton Hill and by the old casino. There are hotels such as the Sheraton and Crowne Royale in this area which are going to cost you more then up on the main strip, but you will be able to get a falls view room if you’d like. The hotels are also a lot nicer and feature many amenities that the motels and hotels on the strip don’t feature.
The third area where you’ll find most of the hotels is down by the actual falls, and many of these hotels are high rises with views of the falls if you get a high enough floor. You’ll pay more for the room if it has a view of the falls, but you’ll enjoy the view a lot more and it’ part of the experience of visiting Niagara Falls. Of course not all rooms have a view of the falls, but if you book a room early enough you’ll be able to ensure that you get a room with a view of the falls. Most of the hotels will require you to spend a lot of money and these are the Hilton, Embassy Suites and many of the other four and five star hotels. If you’re on a budget though then you can stay at the DoubleTree which is a part of the Hilton family and it also has falls view rooms. It’s about $100-$500 cheaper per night then the rest of the hotels and you can get a room for around $200 a night with a view of the falls.
You have lots of choices when visiting Niagara Falls on where to stay and there are choices for every budget. You’ll notice that there are cheap hotels for as low as $40 a night and hotels with rooms as high as $1000+ a night depending on where you stay and what you want. Probably the best value is the DoubleTree Hotel, and there are many great amenities at this hotel and for the best price you’ll find in the area. It’s only about a five minute walk to the new casino and about a fifteen minute walk to the old casino and you’re close to everything.
