Niagara Falls Shopping
If you’re visiting Niagara Falls and are looking to entertain yourself with a day of shopping then you won’t be disappointed. There aren’t a large amount of shopping areas to choose from, but there are a few areas that you can find some great stores and bargains.
The Strip
The strip is the entire area down by the falls and hotels and there are plenty of stores to walk through in this area. You won’t find any brand name stores in this area, but the area is filled with shops catering to everyone’s clothing needs. You’ll find lots of tourist clothes for fewer than five dollars and if you’re looking for trendy clothes then you’ll find a few shops. There are a couple urban clothing shops that have all your favourite urban clothing brands, but expect to pay top dollar for anything you want in this genre of clothing.
Niagara Mall
Niagara Mall is a mall in Niagara Falls that claims to have something like 100 different stores, but there currently doesn’t appear to be that many. It is under construction, so they adding more stores now. If you’re only in Niagara Falls for a weekend then you may not want to spend time going there.
Niagara Outlet Mall
Not far from all the hotels and action is a large outlet mall that has stores that everyone has come to love over the years. If you want to shop, it’s a place you should definitely should make a point of checking out when you are in Niagara Falls. You can find a lot of great discount deals and clearance sales in the stores, and there are stores such as Nike, The Body Shop, Reebok and many more. In total there are approximately fifty stores. Most of them are name brand stores. In the summer they have tent sales where you’ll find basement clearance pricing on many great products, and you should take a day to visit this mall. It’s located about ten minutes up the road from where all the main action is at, so you could either walk or drive from your hotel by the falls.
